A bunch of useless crap

Ok, it's a done deal. No turning back now. I am flying out Monday morning to Wisconsin to resume truck driving, or at least attempt to do so. I may well be making a huge mistake, but sometimes it's the trying that matters more.

So, I'll be spending the next few days making preparations to close up the house to try to make a living on the road again. What happens, happens. At least I won't spend the remainder of my life wondering if I could have.

Ok, Jack Kerouac!  Keep us informed!  It will be lonely with you only posting sporadically, but we will keep a light on for you!

And the best of Luck!

Well that old Dinosaur would have been a nice send off gift!  If I had not sold it.

But Dell has some deals!  We will wait for that first paycheck.  Did you tell the current boss?  They are not going to be happy!  I hated doing that when I left a place I did like!  That was hard.

Good luck with that as well.

Yeah, I made that call today. Was hard and I really hated it, but I just told him it was something I have to do (which is true).

Most truckstops carry reconditioned laptop for a decent price, I'll probably pick one up when I can. Am taking all my software with me (almost needs it's own suitcase LOL)

Hey Mason....what are going to do about your bike? Ain't it kind of hard to keep it in the tractor?

Good Luck to you Mason...I hope it all works out for you.

BTW...Good luck to you my friend. I'll leave you with an old saying, "Keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down, we catch you on the flip flop, we gone, bye-bye!"

Thanks Kelly.

drmiler, my bike will be staying here and I'll ride it when I'm home. Eventually I hope to pick up a folding model that will be easier to carry in the truck. At 6ft long there's no way to carry my bike on the truck.
