A bunch of useless crap

If everything goes well, I won't be online for a while. I am expecting word today on a new place to live and, if the word is positive, I'll be moving in tonight. The approval, or lack thereof, on my credit application for the place should be back today. The only possible problem may be my lack of time on my current job as I have only been there for a shade over 3 months.

If they approve it even with my lack of time on the job, I should be able to move in tonight. This is a good thing but has one down side. I won't have internet access for a while. The phone company says it could be as long as the 21st before my dsl service is active and so I won't be able to get online until it is.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will get a positive word today as I really need my own place to live. Living in someone else's house and sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room basically sucks.

So, if I disappear for a while, you'll know why.

Hope you get the place...nothing like new digs to give you a fresh perspective.

See ya when you get back!

Haha... who asks that?

When I got DSL, I had SDSL, and it was 384k up and down.  The Smorgasborg was anywhere from 192k up to (at that time) 1.544m.  The 384 tho was very zippy, and almost as fast as my Cable is now!

What can I say?  I am a geek!  I am curious.

Under some circumstances.

Do I have to turn in my geek card? (Hey! I am LAN, not MAN! - that is what they told me!)
