House Sitting Instead of Riding *sigh*

and it's a perfect day for riding

It's a beautiful day for riding. The chance of rain is very low, the humidity is very low for here, and the sun is shining. Perfect.

Due to a recent rash of break-ins in the area I agreed to stay home and watch the house while Mom and Frank went to a friend's birthday celebration. Who knew it would be such a perfect day for a ride?

I am hoping they will return in time for me to get some riding time in and be able to enjoy this gorgeous day. If not, hopefully tomorrow will turn out as well.

I guess I'll use the down time to clean and lube the bike so it'll be ready when I do get to go riding.

I said it before... I'll say it again.... GET RID OF YOUR STUPID,USELESS DOG AND GET ONE THAT CAN GUARD THE HOUSE!

Bummer! Because of company, we did not get out riding Saturday until late. So it was short. It was a beautiful day.

Yes, it was a gorgeous weekend indeed. Saturday was hot and sunny, even with Ophelia (did I mention that's my youngest sister's name!) lurking in the background. Sunday was absolutely fab - we spent a couple of hours at the swimming pool - what a paradise-type-day that was!
