A bunch of useless crap

I've been having a lot of trouble with the worn gears on my old mountain bike I ride to work. I called the bike shop, Power On Cycling, where I am buying my new bent. I explained the situation to Mark, the owner, and told him I really need to get on my new bike right away so I can get to work.

I offered to leave my laptop with him as collateral until I get paid on the 15th. He said he really couldn't do anything with my laptop but that I should just come on down and get fitted on the bike and ride it home.

Huh? Did I hear that right? Yep, he's letting me take the bike home today, sans collateral. Wow! Is this a great guy or what? I'm now waiting for my ride to get here so I can go get my new bent. Happy happy, joy joy!

Does mark have a favorite charity?  If so, please post it and his name!  I am making a donation in his name!  Mark will not take my money, but for his deeds, I think people should know about him!

I have no idea Guy, but he's a great guy and has earned a customer for life. His shop is Power On Cycling in Plant City, FL www.poweroncycling.com
It's no wonder people drive past other shops in other town to go do business with him. He's super!

The ride home from the shop was great. The bike rode extremely well and was super comfortable. When I made the same ride on my old bike I had to stop to rest twice. Today I cruised all the way home only stopping for stop signs.
It took about 45 minutes to ride the 10 miles. Not the fastest bike in the world, but fast enough for my needs and soooo comfortable. No pain in my hip at all.

After I got home I mounted my lights and backpack to it and then took a leisurely cruise around the neighborhood where I had to stop several times for kids and adults wanted to check it out and ask questions about it.

I am now officially the envy of the neighborhood kids cause I have the coolest toy.
