Test Rode a Bent Today, Am Going To Buy It!

I just got back from meeting Mark and the other nice folks at Power On Cycling. I have to say I was really impressed with them. Mark is a truly nice guy and I am looking forward to his shop being "my shop" from now on. He has gained a customer for life.
He discussed some of my options with me, some advantages and disadvantages, and I never once got the feeling he was being anything but honest with me. We selected an EZ-1 that he had upgraded with rocket shifters, a high pressure rear tire, and some other things. He loaded the bike into his van and we rode to the park for a test ride.
After some initial adjustments and some basic instruction, off I went. I don't know if I had a stupid grin on my face when I reluctantly returned to where Mark and my ride were waiting, but I know I was grinning on the inside at least.
It was a wonderful ride, and I really loved the bike. It produced absolutely no strain or pain in my hip at all, was plenty fast enough for my needs, and was uber comfortable.
Mark was kind enough to agree to hold the bike for me in a layaway situation while I pay it out, and made me what I think is a fantastic deal on it, especially considering the upgrades he had made on it.
Now I just have to exercise enough patience to not go crazy with anticipation until I get it bailed out so to speak.
Thanks Mark, you're a gem.
This is the bike I am buying. I can hardly wait.

awesome! I can't wait until I am in the market for a recumbent and can start riding again, so I'm a tad envious! Enjoy!

Cool, Gid I hope you can manage to get one soon. The bike was such a blast to ride, it was amazing.
He's letting me have it, with all the upgrades, for $300. Hard to beat that anywhere. He originally quoted it at $350 but after we spent some time talking he knocked off another 50 and threw in a free mirror. Really nice guy.
