Today was the last day of the training classes for the state security license. We have covered everything from company policies, emergency response, patroling, reporting, and firefighting to first aid, and terrorist response. It's been a very busy two days.
We had the final exam this evening. I didn't score quite as well as I had hoped, only got a 98% (missed 2 of the 100 questions, grrrrrr), but it was more than enough to pass. So I'm in a fairly good mood tonight, even if I am exhausted. Cramming 24 hours of intensive training into 2 days is quite a lot.
I stopped on the way home tonight and got my passport photo made so I can include it with the license application package now that I have the 24 hour course certificate.
Tomorrow morning I report for Security Officer Basic Training Course (SOBC) and company orientation. Hopefully we will finish up early enough so that I can ride with one of the other guys to the State building to submit my license application packet and receive my "blue card" temporary license so I can begin work right away.
