A bunch of useless crap
Rest: It's a Good Thing

Yesterday I was in a great deal of pain and therefore kept my physical activity at a minimum. The rest paid off as the pain is much less today and I am able to move around a little more easily. I shouldn't complain considering when I was first released from the hospital back in Jan. I couldn't walk at all and the pain was constant and unbearable.

Putting things in their proper perspective, I have made a good deal of progress. It has only been since Apr. 12th that I have been allowed to even put weight on my affect leg. Now I am able to walk reasonably well with a cane for short distances, without a cane for shorter distances, and the pain is for the most part reasonably tolerable most of the time.

Yesterday was just one of those "bad days". Today is better. Perhaps tomorrow will be better yet. Or not. Either way is ok, I'll deal with it.

where are you living now?

I've been staying at my mother's place in Florida since I got out of the hospital.

Thanks for the kind remarks.

Hope you enjoy the days when you feel well; hope you are able to cope with those days when you don't...

InBloom, I try to take it as it comes. Pain is just mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.
