A bunch of useless crap
One Step at a Time

Well, the healing process continues. I have progressed from strictly using crutches, to being able to walk using a cane for the past couple of weeks, to yesterday being able to take a few steps without leaning on the cane at all.

It's a slow process, but I am seeing definate progress. But it's so slow in coming. I've now been laid up and not working for better than four months with no income at all. Things are very very tight now.

I need to get back to work soon. The sooner the better. But the healing process takes it's own time, in it's own way. I have been keeping my eyes and ears open for some sort of work that I could do here locally, but so far nothing. My best hope at this point is to get healed enough to be physically able to go back to trucking. The type of hauling I do, heavy equipment, machinery, large military and emergency vehicles, has physical demands that I am not quite ready to meet yet.

Soon, I hope.

Hugs to you Mason. I'm sure you'll be fighting fit and better than ever soon.

Thanks for the comments. I'm getting a little better every day with fewer and fewer of the "bad days" which are usually weather related. Seems the rainy weather makes it hurt more. I guess that's to be expected.
