They've Moved From Africa To Asia

It seems the scammers have been chased out of Africa. Got this in an email box today.

Greetings,

I am Dr. Tien, A Taiwanese and also the Managing director of Taiwan
Business Bank (TBB) I write briefly to request your cooperation in a
lucrative mutual business involving a $25 Million USD, If interested
reply me now with your FULL NAMES & TEL NUMBER to my email below as I
shall discuss further logistic about this business cooperation between
You and I.

I expect your swift reply and good business understanding, it`s a
proposal not a compelling matter, so only respond if interested.

We have been getting these kinds of phishing e-mails for years now. We used to send them in to Microsoft but have since stopped. I just delete them now ... but my husband still likes to read them (I don't). Talking to him, it seems the majority did seem to come from Africa with an occasional British venture so ... maybe it actually did some good ... turning them in I mean. Are there actually people so ignorant or desperate enough to comply with these ploys???

Unfortunately yes. I know of one who shelled out over a grand. She will never to that again.

Bummer that, but I too have been scammed in other ways in the past as have most of us at some point(s) in our lives. Hopefully, we learn some valuable lessons in these cases to ease our path over the next hurdle life throws our way.

Anyone stupid enough to fall for this crap deserves what they get, but then I am also opposed to putting instruction on shampoo bottles. If you need instructions printed on a bottle of shampoo maybe dirty hair isn't your biggest problem.

Sorry, but we seem to have a personality mismatch whenever we try to have a 'discourse' which usually turns out not to be very discourse-full at all ... so I was just dismissing myself from this discussion before that point is reached is all.
