Due to getting loaded late on Friday with a heavy load I am stuck waiting for over weight permits to run this heavily armored military truck down to Camp Lejuene, NC.

I am checked into a hotel on the WI/IL border and this afternoon I wandered into the hotel lounge. I had some enjoyable conversations with a few locals and hotel guests and was having an enjoyable time until this one lady came in and for some reason took an instant dislike to me.

I have no idea what I might have said or done to make this woman dislike me but shortly after she came in she started to call me "Lucifer".

Well, I'll admit I am far from perfect, and I am certainly no angel, but Lucifer? Well, ok, I guess I can be a bit devilish, but I don't think the name Lucifer quite applies, does it?

After a bit I got to thinking about it and decided that from now on that is how I'll introduce myself in bars. What the heck, I think it's kind of amusing. Most of the time I introduce myself as "Sam", which is the first three letters of my real name reversed. After some thought I think "Lucifer" might prove amusing.

Geez, the things we find to amuse ourselves...
