A bunch of useless crap

As I am laid over while my truck is in for repairs (again) I went over to Applebee's for dinner. When I got there I saw that one of my favorite servers was upset and when she came over to say hello I asked her what was wrong. She informed me that a long time bartender whom I liked had committed suicide this morning.

Needless to say I was floored by this news. I just didn't know what to say. I couldn't help but think about her little two year old daughter.

I still don't know what to say.

I do not understand it either.  I am very sorry for the little girl who will never really know her mother.

Hugs to you...I don't think there are words to say. It's shitty.  Just hope that two year old grows up knowing that whatever her mom did love her, just couldn't cope.  Sorry for your loss.

Aw Mason, such a loss.  It is such a waste.  I know you will miss her smile.

Yeah, that's the real shame of it.

Speaking from experience, the poor child will always wonder why.

Yes, I will miss her. Losing someone you have come to know always leaves a hole in your life in some way or other.

She must have been in great emotional pain to do such a thing.  She's the reason we need to be ever mindful of the pain and struggles those very near to us may be going through.  There's just not enough kindness and grace these days so we need to step it up that much more for the sake of those who are hurting enough to want to end it all.

I will pray for her daughter tonight that she will be cared for and protected as best as can be done under the circumstances and that God would put people in her path, as she grows, who will help her heal.    Sorry Mason for your loss.

Thank you for that.
