A bunch of useless crap

Joe Users are a very generous and caring bunch. In response to my current economic woes several JUers ,kindly and caringly prompted and coordinated by Little Whip, have sent cards and money to help me keep my home.

I have to say that I am truly touched by this and very, very thankful. I won't name names here, I will thank each person privately once I return home again and go through all of the envelopes. I just want to publicly acknowledge the fact that we truly do have some angels among our little virtual community. It really does floor me that people whom I have never met in person (yet at least) would go the trouble to help out like this.

While things are still very tight at the moment, they are showing signs of improvement in the near future. I am able to hang on a little longer now thanks to the loving hearts of our JU members. Just when everything looks like total disaster some people jump right up and show you the light at the end of the tunnel really isn't an oncoming train.

I am extremely grateful to Sabrina and all of those who care enough to help out someone in need. The world could do with more such people.

Very true, and it's good to be reminded of that from time to time.

Mason needed to know that he's not as alone as he thinks he is in this mean old world, and that's worth far more than any funds that were sent.

Quite true. It certainly does help adjust one's attitude.

Now...about that new job, Mason....(nag, nag, nag!)

Actually the job thing is starting to improve. I just got back today from handling that emergency response load to Indy (generators heading for the ice storm areas in KY). On the way back I picked up some steel in Chicago and delivered that in WI and first thing in the morning I am heading out to finish that load to Pocatella with three added stops in WA (really bumps up the pay).

I had expected that they would have put someone else on the Pocatella load but they held it at the yard so I could finish it. I'm glad because it was good pay, and adding three generators to WA is icing on the cake.

Thanks to the generosity of JUers and my work picking up a little, as of today my house payments are finally caught up once again. Yay!!!!

I still have to deal with the utilities and such, but having the house payment caught up again is a huge weight off my shoulders. Thanks again to one and all who were kind enough to help out.

Darn it, this all seems to have come down while I haven't been able to turn full attention to JU.

LW - if you can figure out how to send me a private message, please do.

Mason - I do hope things improve for you all around.

Thanks to everyone who responded, I'm not the special one here, YOU GUYS ARE!  I just have a big mouth, lol.

You still deserve a great deal of thanks from me, and you do have my gratitude for making it happen.
