Was sitting here in my truck watching the rain and saw this cool looking rainbow forming. Thought I shoot a bit of video and share it. I forgot my video camera at home so I had to shoot this with my webcam.
Awesome.
Right aftr i graduated college as musica educater, I took a full-part time gig as an assistant band director. I had graduated in December, so a full time job wouldn't be available until the new school year.
The down side was, I had to drive about 200 miles a day to take this gig, but it made for a nice drive to and from work.
One day, on the way home, I had to pull over. There was a PERFECT rainbow. Full from left to right, and each band was brilliant throughout. It looked like it was out of a cartoon. I wish there was such a thing as video cameras back then. I've never seen anything like it.
Ok, I tried to edit the typos, but JU is being JU again. Please put on your universal translator and muddle through them.
I haven't seen a rainbow in a long time. I think I've only seen maybe 3 or 4 that were really good.
Funny how much joy a bit of light refracted through water can bring.

S'ok, I am fluent in typonese
Isn't it though?
I really wish I'd had my normal video camera with me, the webcam just didn't do it justice. It was a perfect one just as Ock described. The colors were brilliant.
I have been fortunate enough to see doubles!
Great pic Mason!
Thanks. I thought this one was going to be a double but the second one faded pretty quickly.
We had one here too yesterday, a double one, I got some pix of it and some video too, however am using my other computer now and can't transfer them out of camera.
It sure was lovely! Glad you shared!
What? no one's gonna make the usual obvious references to finding the pot of gold? Lemme be the first...
I look forward to seeing it.
Well, if yer gonna go with the obvious...LOL some nasty little fucker in a green suit wouldn't let me have it.
Saw one like it yesterday in Tacoma. Maybe they're related?
Could be, ya never know.
