Man Discovers Fire

The discovery of fire is probably one of the most important discoveries in the history of Man. I'm making the most of it and have the grill fired up.

I'm not grilling anything fancy, just some burgers. Those, along with some baked beans, will make tonight's dinner. I don't think anything tastes as good as food cooked outdoors. And no wimpy gas for me, it's charcoal all the way baby!

I keep meaning to pick up a better grill, but my tiny little table-top grill serves me well enough. Perhaps once I put the screen gazebo out on the carport I'll pick up a bigger one.

I will be putting up the screen gazebo for a reason. I am sick and tired of neighbors treating my carport like a public sidewalk. When I got home this time one of them actually put in pavers leading from his carport to mine to make his trespassing easier. I am fed up it and will be putting in the gazebo so as to block that end of the carport and make the assholes walk around like they're supposed to do.

Fucking rude to just walk through someone's property like that without permission, but as they're all old retired shits I can't exactly threaten them, so I'll just remove the convenience factor of their trespassing and make them walk around like they'r supposed to do. I've tried making comments to them, but it doesn't help. These old fucks just don't give a shit.

It will be nice to have the gazebo out there anyway. I've been wanting to get a nice porch swing but the bugs make enjoying one difficult. I'll pick up the swing at the same time, along with a small pation table or something to make sitting out and enjoying the outdoors a bit more pleasant. I had thought about just putting up some lattice along the back of the carport, but I'll get much more enjoyment from the screen gazebo.

Sorry, had to go flip the burgers, back now. Baked beans smell great.

I'll probably go buy the gazebo and swing tomorrow so I can enjoy them for a day or two before hitting the road again. I really hope it royally pisses off the old farts who seem to think my property is a public throughway. I would never consider being so disrespectful of someone else's property.

OK, rant over. Can't wait for the burgers.

I guess the old farts think they can do whatever they want cause they are old farts. I guess you could be glad they are just walking through. Imagine what your lawn ( that is if you have a lawn by your carport) would look like if they drove their power chairs and scooters through there.

I also wonder what one of them would do if you walked through their carport. Probably shake there cane at you and curse the young whipper snapper or try and run you down with said power chair.

Yeah, that's just the thing. These same old assholes are the first to yell or call the cops when someone violates their property.

The screened gazebo I had planned on getting was out of stock, but I found something suitable and now have it in place. As expected (and measured) at 15' x 13' it completely blocks the carport to prevent anyone from walking through and provides me with a nice bug-free area to sit my patio chairs and table.
