A bunch of useless crap

I'm holed up in a motel in Georgia until Monday morning. I won't have to worry about getting and early start tomorrow as I can't pass through the Atlanta area until after 9:00 am due to the restrictions there for oversized loads during rush hour.

Last night I went to the little sports pub and grill next door for some dinner and adult beverages, and just to get out of the room for a little while. I had a pretty good time there.  I had a number of people, especially the women, express interest in the sweater I am knitting and a number of the ladies just had to come over and feel the material and tell me how impressed they were that a guy would sit in a bar and knit. One was a prticularly attractive young black girl who seemed entranced by my knitting and kept coming by to check it out and talk with me.

One guy asked me if anyone ever gave me any shit about it and I just looked him in the eye and asked him "Would you?"  He got the point. Sometimes it pays to be mean and ugly looking LOL

I left the place shortly after the karaoke started. I really hate that shit even if it does attract a lot of women to a place.

I had a nice relaxing night and a good night's sleep. This morning I wandered over to the Waffle House for some breakfast, which wasn't too bad at all. I have the rest of the day to just relax, watch the idiot box, and do a lot of nothing, which I am especially good at doing.

I've been expecting to here from the escort that will be meeting me at the state line but so far it's been no call. I hope nothing has happened to screw things up there as I won't be able to enter Florida without them. They normally call a day in advance to set up a meeting place and time. Ah well, the day is young and I won't be at the state line until abouot mid-day tomorrow.

Ah well, time to get back to goofing off.

Where you on 95? The place we stopped a month ago had the nastiest tasting water ever! Near as we can tell, it is from all the pulp plants down in that neck of the woods.

I'm in Cartersville, on I-75 about 30 minutes North of Atlanta. As soon as the Atlanta rush hour curfew is over I'll be rolling.

I never, ever drink local water anywhere out here, too easy to pick up some nasty intestinal bug.
