Today I went and bought myself a HeadBlade so that I could finish up getting into my Summer look. Not having any hair is so much easier out on the road. When I do have hair (in the Winter) I rarely bother to comb it, I just put on a hat and move on.
In the past I have either shaved my head with an electric which just doesn't provide a very close shave, or with a regular razor which is somewhat awkward for the head. I had seen the HeadBlade in stores before and decided to give the thing a try. It works extremely well.
You just put the thing on your hand and then just pass your hand over your head, rolling the little wheels along your noggin. It gives an extremely good shave while keeping your hand in a very natural position.
It came with a small sample of their Head Slick shaving cream which I tried. The stuff lives up to it's name as it lubricates very well. Tomorrow I'll be buying some of it and adding it to my dop kit.
So now I have a smooth noggin and except for needing to get a little sun on it, am ready for Summer. I've always liked the smooth brain pan but it just gets too chilly when chaining down a load in North Dakota in the middle of Winter.
This pic ought to be good for breaking a few monitors.
