A bunch of useless crap

For those who observe the Christmas holiday with gift exchanges, what is that one thing that you are really hoping to get? Maybe it's more than one thing. Maybe it's something you haven't even mentioned to a potential gift giver but secretly would like to get.

So, JU, let's have it. What do you want for Christmas?

I'll start it off.

Some really nice yarn.

A knitting book by Elsebeth Lavold titled Viking Patterns For Knitting

I know what I'm getting, sort of... My darling wife is getting me another tattoo as well as some other goodies (Lost Season 3 on DVD, some music, etc).

Something with breasts.

Hmm, not specific enough.

And no Adam's Apple.

Hmm.

And human.

Or maybe you could get a ticket to one of the former Eastern block countries. I hear the female to male ratio is quite high. Nothing like good odds to improve your chances. Communicating could be a minor problem but something I'm sure you'd be able to work out.

When you've got the "language of love", what more do you need?

Little bro picked up Guitar Hero III for the Wii for Steve.

I was wondering if you were aware of a small issue with the game that comes with the Guitar Hero III for the Nintendo Wii. I read the game does not have stereo sound, only mono, so Nintendo will be issuing a new copy of the game sometime next year to those who have bought the game. No explanation as to how they will change the games but it will be free of charge. May wanna look into that just in case stereo is important to you. I know it is to me.

Hmm, I saw a lifesize doll on one of those shows the other day, now that's one you would like! OK JU, lifesize doll for Gene! !

Okay, maybe I need to specify "And breathing" before a hearse pulls up out front.

I was always concerned (probably too much so) whether a woman wanted me or wanted something from me. Heading to another country for love? I'd always be half convinced the woman was more interested in getting to America than interested in me.

Besides, there are other areas of the world I'd more likely go to.

If I were proficient in that particular vernacular, I'd surely be asking Santa for something else this year. As one of my all time favorite pieces of dialogue goes, "You don't get to be 30 and single by being good at this."

!

M, I've forgotten that I'm treating us (family) to a Wii for Xmas, so that's one thing on my list. Not bad, I've got one thing on my list....oh yeah, a nice handbag too, something that appeals to my sense of shiny, leather, pretty bright color....I'm so materialistic!!

I would like a Nikon 18-200 mm F/3.5-5.6G ED-IF AF DX VR Lens and a photo class or two. And a digital photo frame....a big one, maybe 8x10. I figure if I am not getting what (who) I really want...then I shoudl dream big.

Yea, that is big for a lens!
