No load yet today so I checked into a hotel. Screw sitting around a truckstop. I found a place with decent rooms, a restaurant, and a lounge. I'll bill it back to the boss anyway.
I had a pretty good time in the lounge, a couple of the ladies asked me to help them pick out songs on the jukebox, and I even enjoyed a nice slow dance with one of them, but eventually wandered back to my room.
At some point in the lounge I totally screwed up the pattern in the scarf I am working on so I'll have to frog it back at least one row. That really sucks as I am still not very good at picking up a row. I hope I can manage it as I would really hate to have to frog the whole thing and start over. I really should start using a lifeline.
Ah well, it's not like I'm on a deadline to finish the thing. I'd like to get together with an experienced knitter like Dharma to learn how to pick up a row better, but that's not likely to happen. I guess I'll figure this shit out as I go.
