A bunch of useless crap

I delivered the snowplow blade to the Air Force base in Colorado Springs this morning and then the snowplow truck to a dealer in Denver this afternoon. Everything went surprisingly well despite all the road construction and some tight turns.

I'm now parked at a truckstop in Denver awaiting a reload. Same old story, hurry up and wait. Makes me kinda glad I took my time getting here.

I'm going to wander inside and see what's to eat as I haven't eaten all day and my stomach is starting to protest. I could have eaten at any time really, I just wasn't very hungry until now. That reminds me, I forgot to take my vitamin supplement this morning. Oh well, skipping a day now and again won't hurt anything.

I've been taking some additional pills containing glucosamine, chontroitine, and MSM (whatever that is) that are supposed to help the joints. I'm hoping they help my bad hip and my hands as I am starting to feel the early signs of arthritis starting up in my hands lately. It's mostly in my hip at this point but my hands and right shoulder joint are starting to bother me a little, especially now that the temps are starting to cool. Hopefully this stuff will fend it off for a while longer.

Time to eat.

You're spot on about the changing weather,  temps dropping,  affect the joints.  Doesn't surprise me too much that you're feeling it where you were injured.  My former landlord takes the same stuff you do,  he swears by it,  and an orthopedic doctor told me it helps some people.

BTW,  love the color in your scarf and it looks awesome!

I can tell the weather changed here cause I made chili, boiled dinner,  and baked brownies w/ walnuts!

Yeah it's amazing how accurate those aches and pains can be when it comes to the weather. So far I can't tell much difference taking the stuff but they say it can take 8 weeks for it to reach full effect and I've only been taking it for about a week now.

Thanks.

Hey it's taxpayer money, what do they care?

It's pretty damn chilly here this morning so maybe Ma Nature hasn't got the news yet either.
