A bunch of useless crap

Dispatch finally called me around 1:00 this afternoon with a load for me to pick up. I had to scramble to get down to Sebring, FL to get the machine picked up before 5:00. Geez, that's cutting it close. I rolled in there at 4:30.

Naturally it was raining the whole time I was loading, securing, and tarping (I hate those damn things) this machine. Makes a lot of sense to load a machine outside, in the rain, and then want it tarped (I hate those damn things). Umm, hey dummy, the damn thing is already wet. Ah well, they're paying for tarping (I hate those damn things) so I tarped (I hate those damn things) it. But I made him help me.

The machine is heading for Brazil, IN and needs to be there Monday. Piece of cake. As home was on the way (kinda sorta) I stopped back here to get a shower and spend the night. One more comfy night in my own bed before another three weeks or so living in the truck again, and one more morning of Elie's great coffee.

The hard work is out of the way now so I can leave out some time tomorrow morning and just take my time cruising up to Brazil.

Now for that shower to wash off the tarp (I hate those damn things) grime.

It was raining cats and dogs here today too. For a moment there I thought you were going to Brazil, for real (as my daughter would say)! I didn't realise there was a Brazil in Indiana! Any bikini waxing going on there?! ! Drive safe, it's supposed to be wet tomorrow but hopefully we get more sun than rain!

You never know.

I was wondering just how long it was going to take you to drive down to Brazil.  That would be one heckuva road trip.  Would probably be a ton of fun coming back through the Southern border too.  (Think of all the room you'd have to bring back a few extra passengers, and think of how many might sneak aboard if you left the cab open {or even if you didn't and they saw U.S.A. plates on it and opted to find their own way to sneak aboard})

Now, how, exactly, do you feel about those tarps?  It wasn't quite clear.

I'm wondering if it's all tarps.. or just ones that cover certain machines... that wasn't "covered" in the post...lol

Hell I'd be lucky to have a truck left by that time. They're known to strip em as their moving.

Yeah I know I was a tad vague on that issue. I rather dislike them.

You "rather dislike them" like democrats rather dislike Bush.

Have fun - hopefully in a cooler climate.
