A bunch of useless crap

I took my first dose of Wellbutrin yesterday. When I woke this morning I had and still have a sort of roaring sound in my ears. As I have been dealing with a sinus problem lately that is affecting my ears (plugged ears, pressure, etc) I can't be sure if it's related to the drug or to the sinus problems.

Has anyone who's tried Wellbutrin experienced something similar? If so, does it pass?

I had no adverse affects.  Have you had your BP checked?

I'm on Wellbutrin! I haven't experienced any such problems, just increased feelings of well-being

I hope you get your ear problem figured out and you're feeling better soon.

Chantix is the drug Colleen is going to use to quit, it has less side effects than wellbutrin. Nope I have never tried it, nor has she, this info came from her doc, not mine.

I was on it for a year, and never had anything similar. Took it as an anti-depressant and had no idea it was also a smoking aid. I was rather pleased when I realized I had unintentionally quit. So pleased, in fact, that I decided some little pill wasn't going to control me and started smoking again anyway.

Ok, so it's most likely just the sinus problem then and an odd coincidence. Kinda what I thought but no harm in asking.

Yeah I had my blood pressure checked when I went to the doctor. Perfect as always.

Adrian was taking an anti-depressant, but I can't remember which one...and he felt like he had cotton in his ears. Does that sound similar to what you're experiencing?

I just found that ringing in the ears is listed as a possible side effect of the drug but that it's usually temporary.

I used to handle customer complaints for a company that makes a generic version of Wellbutrin, and we had very few complaints about that particular product, 99% of which were "bad taste in mouth", which is well documented, and wasn't really avoidable. Never received anything about ears ringing.

Thanks. It's most likely just my sinuses acting up. Either way it's damn annoying.
