When I stopped in at a fuel stop today to use the restroom and grab a Gatorade I saw (while using the restroom) a sale flier advertising a 256MB MP3 player they had on sale for $40. Hey, that's plenty big enough for me as I don't plan on using it for videos or anything. 256MB is a lot of music. I bought one.
It's a knock off of an iPod (but really tiny), and I'm sure it's not the highest quality, but it seems to work ok. It took me a while to figure out how the thing works. I tried to read the directions (unusual for me), but they were obviously written in another language and translated (poorly) and really made little sense. I just spent some time playing with it and finally figured out how all of the functions are accessed and how it all works.
I have to admit it's kind of a cool toy. Now I can transfer some music from my laptop to the MP3 player and listen to tunes while I ride my bike or do other stuff that I may not want to carry my laptop with me.
I do need to find some better earbuds though. The ones that came with it don't quite fit in my ears and feel like they wanna fall out at any moment. Maybe I can fit them with some ear gels and make them fit better. I'm pretty sure I have some gels in my truck. Somewhere.
On a totally unrelated side note, I think my healthier eating is paying off. I am being constantly annoyed by having to pull up my jeans as they are trying to fall off of me. I need to find my belt, which is in the truck somewhere. It never ceases to amaze me how one can lose something in a truck, but trust me you can.
