A bunch of useless crap

The truck behaved itself today and I made it up here to MI. It's actually quite chilly here. It's cool enough for sleeping without the need for ac, but still warm enough to not need heat either. I won't have to idle the truck tonight.

I did pretty well on the healthier eating today. I had a bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar for breakfast, a banana for lunch, and for dinner I had a salad, grilled chicken with Spanish rice, and broccoli.

I'm about 30 minutes from the delivery point in Romulus. I have to be there at 7:00 am local time. Once I put off the pieces there I can start heading for WI and the final stop unless they have something around here they want me to pick up to bring along.

Once I get to WI and get the final delivery made I need to get the truck to the body shop so they can do the estimate for the damage to the bumper and fender from my last visit to Detroit. As the damage is almost identical to what it was when the rookie hit me in the truck stop it shouldn't take too long.

I plan to run the truck through a truck wash at some point between here and the body shop as the entire front is covered with love bugs from FL. It took a lot of scrubbing to get them off the windshield so I could see where I was going.

Ah well, that's all for tomorrow's to do list. For now I need to just kick back, pop in a movie, and do a little knitting while I relax.

Wow, you are in Stardock country   Aren't MI roads wonderful?   Welcome to construction season when lane after lane is barreled off for no discernable reason.  Best wishes for your journey to WI.

I guess the cold snap here (after the mild first part of the winter) killed most of our love bugs.  But I have noticed a few kissing our windshields lately, so I guess they are just gearing up now for a busy summer!

If you are ever in the area on a weekday, you should stop into Stardock and say Hi!

Yeah, MI roads suck.

Thanks. Between the roads, bad drivers, and a serious lack of truck parking let's just say that MI is not among my favorite states to visit.

They are thriving down in FL.
