A bunch of useless crap

I shot a couple of pics of my new Kent folding bicycle. It's a goofy looking thing but comes in handy out on the road. My neighbor across the street (a fellow cyclist) came out to see it when I was riding it around this afternoon. His comment? "Kinda funny seeing such a big guy on such a little bike." I guess I look like one of those circus bears on the little bikes LOL.

And one of my trusty bent.

The optomotrist across the street from where I work has one of the folding Bikes.  I agree with your neighbor.  It would look kind of funny to see you on the little thing.

But I can see the practicality of it.  How is the life of the rubber chain?  I wondered about that.

Rubber chain? I can't imagine a rubber chain holding up very well at all. Mine has a normal bike chain.

That is what his has (I saw it up close). I thought yours did as well. But that is just not having my reading glasses on.

I've seen a few bikes with belts instead of chains, but don't have any personal experience with them. I imagine that it's far easier to repair a broken chain on the side of the road than it would be a belt.

I like the look of the folded bike. I'm guessing the handles and the seat extends? They look like they do! It would be interesting to see it folded.

Yeah the seat and handlebar stem extend, and the handlebar stem base also folds down. Kind of a one size fits all sort of thing.
