Mondays usually suck. Everyone knows that. My Monday was more like a Sunday. I slept in, made some coffee, and was generally lazy most of the morning.
This afternoon I got slightly ambitious and washed my bent. It sorely needed it. Hell, I even swept the carport. Exciting day huh?
I had planned to make chicken and yellow rice for dinner but the lazy thing kicked in again after washing the bent and I settled for pizza instead. I'll probably make the chicken tomorrow.
I did make it to that great capitalist temple Wally World where I probably spent too much money. Ok, not probably, I did spend too much money. I actually only went there to pick up some new salt and pepper shakers (and salt and pepper to go in them) and some trash bags, and wound up buying some new towels, washclothes, canisters (I've never bought canisters in my life), bicycle lights, a household tool kit, and a new video card for my desktop computer (hey, it was marked down 50%), and some beer.
I forgot the trash bags.
Fracking salt and pepper shakers can be so expensive some times.
One of the things I hate most about going to Wally World is standing in the "express" check out lane behind a conga line of suckholes who can't seem to count. The sign clearly says "20 Items Or Less" and these asshats have carts filled to overflowing with crap. Just seeing this bullshit and listening to them yammer on about their adventures in toenail clipping makes you want to beat them to death with an eggplant.
Ah well, all in all it was a decent day for a Monday.
