A bunch of useless crap

My visit with Captain Kirk wasn't altogether unpleasant. He tortured me a bit and then his nurse treated me to an ultrasound treatment on my lower back which did a good job of relaxing the muscles and easing the pain from the torture.

The witch says that at the rate I am progressing his opinion is that I should be able to return to work in about a week.

I see the regular doctor tomorrow and I am hoping that he agrees with that assessment as I am getting a touch of cabin fever couped up in this hotel for so long. I'm ready to fire up the big diesel and watch some mile markers float by.

It's turning out to be a beautiful day here today. It's warm, sunny, and quite refreshing. While the breeze is still a tad too chilly for my Florida blood I have seen many of the natives here wearing shorts today. Everything is relative I suppose.

I'm wearing the back support belt the witch doctor recommended and it does indeed make sitting and walking a bit more comfortable and less painful even if it is a bit uncomfortable on my beer gut. Ah well, nothing is perfect is it?

As soon as my back settles down a bit I'm going to walk over to the grocery store to pick up some more Gatorade as I drank the last one last night, and maybe I'll pick up a 12 pack while I'm at it. If that doesn't tax my back too much I may then follow that up with a stroll to Appleby's for some lunch. I want to get outside and walk around as much as my back will allow as it's such a beautiful day.

You know the one that goes "I told the witch doctor that I'm in love with you...and there's a lot of "oooh heee oh ha ha weng weng walla walla bing bang..." don't ask!  [I'm sure I screwed up the words!]
