A bunch of useless crap
Published on March 2, 2007 By MasonM In Blogging
I was tired and crashed fairly early last night. As a result I woke a little before 6 this morning which is ok because it allows me some time to relax with some coffee before heading over to the yard to have my truck's generator serviced yet again. Maybe they'll actually fix it this time.

Anyway, when I got up I took a peek out the window and my eyes were greeted by the sight of a sky full of falling, blowing snow. Yuck! I knew it was coming. It was all over the news. But still, actually seeing it coming down is depressing. Until it starts one can hold onto a small hope that the forecast is wrong.

I hope it takes all damn day for them to work on my generator. The longer the truck is in the shop the less time I'll have to spend outside working in this crap or having to drive in it.

Now that I've peeked out the window I am far less motivated to leave my nice, warm, comfy hotel room.

We got falling stuff - rain.  Actually a nice day today.  Low 60s (low and high!).  Good luck with the white stuff.

Rain sounds a lot better than this crap. Thanks.

It's funny that as a kid I loved snow. Now with each passing year I dislike it more and more. Good luck dealing with it, and good luck dealing with the other drivers dealing with it.

BTW .. When I first saw the title of this article I thought you might've taken the 'moustache girl' from Applebee's back to your room. ::

Perish the thought.

Home, where the sunshine is, is calling you M! Don't feel too bad though, the sun is a no-show today and we might have some rain! Stay warm!

Our construction camp at 3000m in Lesotho (Southern Africa), used to get snowed in for days. My old Hilux 4x4 helped me get mobile around the camp though. Snow is pretty but it's a bummer.

Hope you do get a decent break in Mason.

Look at it this way, you could have been passing through the Atlanta area and been stuck in traffic because of the flipped bus

Death to snow.

Death, I say.

Violent, snowy death.

Arrgh.

(likes snow, but understands others may not) Mason.. hopefully, this time they will actually fix & repair & it stays repaired the generator. Nothing more frustrating than having to take something back to the mechanics times after times,, but usually that happens to women... does this mechanic have a death wish?

Well, as you know, I can't say I've ever been bothered by snow. The few times I've seen it in my life, it has had enormous novelty value. Still, it would be a different situation to have to go to work everyday in the stuff. I'm sure I'd get sick of it pretty quickly.

I knew there was a reason I hated you . . .

Yep. I'd love snow if it were about 80 degrees when it's doing it.
