Feeling A Bit Better Today

I'm tired after being up sick most of the night last night, but am otherwise feeling a bit better today. Whether it was some bad chow or a violent but short lived bug, the worst of it seems to have passed. I guess I got it out of my system.

I'm in KY now after fighting my way through a really bad traffic back up in Nashville. I'm going to try and eat some breakfast. Hopefully it'll stay down as my stomach seems to have settled quite a bit.

I shouldn't have too much in the way of delays now between here and Northern Indiana where I plan to spend the night tonight. That will put me within easy reach of Elk Grove Village, which is near O'Hare airport, for tomorrow morning.

I just made a call to the boss to let him know that after having the generator in the shop twice now it still isn't working. It's costing him money in idling fuel and me money in not being able to use my microwave. Hopefully he'll light a fire under the shop to either fix the damn thing or swap it out for a new one. I'm getting tired of screwing around with it.

I'm not looking forward to getting back up into the cold weather, but such is life on the roada this time of year.

I'm sorry you were sick M! I'm glad you're feeling better today! Between JU's wonkiness and me not getting on the computer til late last night, I missed that you were ill and that you were back on the road! Drive safe and hopefully that bug will definately be gone when you eat!

Thanks FS. Still feeling a bit uner the weather, but a lot better than I was last night. Hopefully by morning it'll be over and done with.

Glad you're a bit better. Hope you're able to get some rest.

Weather's been pretty nice in southern Ontario. Most of that snow we got last week has melted already and the high for tomorrow's above freezing, so it can't be too bad where you're headed.

I'm glad to hear that. I'm not feeling much in the mood for freezing weather. It's cold here in Northern Indiana, there's still some snow on the ground, but it could be worse.

I'm getting ready to turn in for the night. Rest is what I feel I need most after last night's horrible happenings.

Well sir you gonna hafta be feeling better, cause if you're headed north the weather is supposed to errupt with a major snow storm ( finally) on Friday evening, going right straight through til Monday...then you probably have already heard about it huh?
