In A Big Hurry To Do Nothing

Dispatch gave me a call this morning with a load coming out of Tampa with 1 stop in the Chicago area and another in WI. Cool, Tampa is just 30 minutes from me. I jumped in the truck and headed on over here thinking I could get the load picked up and make some miles up the road.

It seems this place had a big auction yesterday and there are a bunch of trucks here picking up a bunch of stuff. So I get to sit here for who knows how long, the guy just said it would be "a while". Such is the trucking business. I knew I should have grabbed a bite to eat first.

At least you have a computer to kill time with.

You should always keep an emergency snickers for such situations.

Thanks. I usually keep snacks in the truck but just starting off from home I haven't stocked yet. I got lucky though. There's a little Mexican food stand across the street so I walked over and got a couple of tortillas.

Am still sitting here waiting my turn.

Ooo, tortillas... I wish there was a little Mexican place near me that did takeaway. I'd have me some of the same as you're having for sure.

Yep, gotta make a living since I was born good looking instead of rich.

I've started another pair of socks. I'm doing these in a blue sport weight cotton yarn on size 4 circs (Options of course

). As I'm bac on the road I haven't got very far on it yet. It's cast on, joined, and I've managed to knit one round.

Yeah, it wasn't bad at all. Pork tortilla with onions, cilantro, and a chili lime sauce that was killer.
