I Finished My First Pair Of Socks

I just finished knitting the second sock of my very first pair of hand knitted socks. Once the second sock was finished I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is exactly the same size as the first one. I was really expecting that I would somehow screw it up and wind up with two different size socks.
They may not be anything really fancy or anything, but as my first attempt at socks and only my second knitting project, I'm pretty damn pleased with myself.

Yeah it would have gone a lot quicker if my feet were smaller.
Thanks.

I'm impressed! Well done, mate. I have to ask: are they warm and comfortable?

Thanks. Yeah, they are nice and warm. Very comfy. I made them with short tops as that's what I prefer, so they fit the way I like.

I don't think I have any needles that small anyway.

Great job on those socks. I don't know anything about knitting, but if you can make a warm, comfy pair of socks for yourself, then that's a fine hobby to have.

Thanks. Yeah it's one of those practical hobbies.
