I think I have this knitting in the round thing figured out.
Slowly but surely the top of the sock is starting to take shape.

Are you using three needles? That looks pretty tricky! Is that a triagle, or is that the angle of the camera?
You're right, it's happening, not bad at all!

It's actually 4 needles. The work is on 3 needles, in a triangle, and you knit with the 4th. As each needle is worked off to the working needle that one then becomes the working needle. It is a little tricky at first but it's actually not all that hard once you catch on to it.

That is awesome Mason... The ribbing looks great! You'll be wearing hand made socks in no time!

Thanks. Not too sure about the "no time" part though. I knit a little, go do something else, knit a little more, and so forth and so on. But I'm in no hurry.
I'll probably be trying to tackle turning the heel later today or maybe tomorrow. Looks complicated.

It looks more complicated than it really is.

Yep. Once you get the hang of it, it's actually pretty easy.
Nice job, Mason!

I still have a couple of inches of the ribbed top to go before starting the heel. I've been reading through the instructions for turning the heel and that part does look complicated. I hope I don't screw it up.

Got the heel turned. Not as hard as I thought it would be. Sorry for the crappy pics.
