A bunch of useless crap

I'm sitting here in my truck watching a movie and knitting. It started raining a while ago, just a light rain and I pretty much noted it and continued my knitting and movie watching.

I glanced up at the window a few moments ago and saw that the rain has changed over to snow. Yuck! It's coming down pretty good, but I think the ground is probably too warm for it to accumulate. At least I hope that's the case.

I dropped off the truck I was hauling earlier this afternoon, made my way to the yard and did my paperwork and my housekeeping before bobtailing down here to the truckstop. It's nice to have the truck all nice and tidy again. I could have just stayed there at the yard tonight but when I get up in the morning I like to have access to hot coffee to start off my day.

The scarf is coming along pretty well now. My knitting is looking much better and so far this evening I've only had to tink one stitch. It's 17 1/2 inches long now, and I'll be knitting on it for another hour or so yet this evening.

Time to select the next movie to watch. I don't know which one it'll be yet, but I'm pretty damn sure it won't be one with any snow in it. Yuck.

wow that is coming along now.

I hope the snow does not settle and you have an easy drive out in the morning.

Yeah, I'm getting a tad faster as I progress.

I hope the snow does not settle and you have an easy drive out in the morning.

Thanks. I'm not too concerned about the driving, I just don't want to have to get out and work in a bunch of the white crap.

I'm sure glad you're not down here in this area where all the interstates are closed due to the freakin gale warnings. Holy crap. Glad you're all holed up and cozy in the rig there and can get some warm joe in the morning.

Thanks. I had my fill of the high winds and rain Friday.

I like post like these Mason. As a matter of fact, i enjoy "purt near" all your post. They're comfortable and familiar like my old blue jeans and tennies shoes that I slip on after getting home from work. Seems all there is to read a big part of the time here is argumentative stuff about things not a damn soul can do anything about. But your stuff? Like the falling snow outside you, it come down and you (even while maybe not liking it) just let it be.

Thanks for being here Mason. I need to read your kind of stuff to keep my sanity.

It was raining on the drive back to campus today...looked to be bits of slush in it. I expect a bit of snow in the next few days...of course, this'll be the second snow this winter for me...I'm actually starting to miss it. It is a pain in the ass to drive in, though, I've done that more than I've wanted.

The only snow we see around here are in the globes!  Enjoy it as long as it does not stick (always the best kind).

It was just a passing front. This morning it's cold but the sky is clear.
