A bunch of useless crap

I'm having my morning coffee and getting myself ready to do battle with the holiday idiots, I mean travelers.

It's a cold and very windy morning. My generator shut itself down just as I was getting up this morning. That means it's either low on oil or coolant. I'll have to check it later today. At least it waited until I was getting up instead of shutting down at 3:00 am or something.

I'm not looking forward to dealing with all the holiday weekend traffic, but I have to do it if I want to get home. I have a feeling it's going to be a long day. I'm hoping to make it to Monteagle, TN by the end of the day as that is the half way point between here and home. If traffic isn't moving too slowly I should be able to make that.

One more cup of coffee and I'm on my way.

Actually that was the Klingon that was quoting shakespeare, but the sentiment is apt.

Glad at least one heater (or support) did not give it up at the Beginning of the night!  That is all the luck I have.

Weather has been ok, but the morons are out in force. I was held up for a good while in Seymour,IN due to a nasty wreck involving a truck, three cars, and at least one fatality. People simply in too much of a hurry to drive safely.

Yeah, I got lucky in that the heat stayed on all night. It turned out to be low on coolant and the safety system had shut it down. All filled up again and ready for tonight.

I haven't made it nearly as far as I had hoped thanks to that wreck and my damn back acting up. I'm in KY, about 30 minutes South of Louisville. I won't make it home now until Christmas day.
