A bunch of useless crap

Tonight I threw together a dinner that was pretty tasty.

I made some brown rice with a little extra water so it would be extra moist. Then I put some olive oil and soy sauce into a skillet and heated that.

I put the rice into the skillet, added some chopped onion, canned black beans, and carrot shavings. I fried this up adding a few more dashes of soy sauce as I went.

Very simple, but quite tasty.

This sounds good,  econonical,  and yummy.

I do this only with white rice,  think brown rice would be healthier,  and I add a little fresh tomato,  onetime had little shrimp in it,  love scrambled eggs in it,  also sauted green peppers and onions.  The black beans that you use are healthy also.  I've discovered like you that the carrot shavings are really good!  The only black beans I've had were in soups.  Don't know what they'd taste like this way,  what are they like for taste?

Thanks. Black beans are pretty good, it's kind of hard to describe a flavor ya know. Just try some. Very healthy and loaded with protein.

I don't use white rice much as there's very little (pretty much none) nutritional value in it. Brown rice is far more nutritious and I think the flavor is far better.
