I'm making preparations to head back out on the road tomorrow. I've had my shower and shave, cleaned up the kitchen, and started packing up the things that I need to take with me.
I have a rather large shave bag and until now could never have imagined that it would be too small but as I was packing up all of my shave gear, including the new creams, brush, aftershave, and razors it was getting quite full. I got it all in there, but just barely. I was a bit concerned that the small ceramic bowl that i use to whip up the cream wasn't going to fit but I managed to squeeze it in. The bag is definately full and a bit swelled to overflowing, but it all went in.
I'm going to have to search for something larger. I believe that Swiss Army makes a decent sized one. I'll have to seek one out.
I'll pack up my laptop and my backpack before bed, but all in all I am pretty much ready to roll. I've been home for 9 days now and while my nearly empty wallet tells me that I need to get back out there and earn some money, I still feel kind of tired and am not overly anxious to go again. Ah well, I'll get a good night's sleep tonight and should be ready to hit it in the morning after a couple of cups of coffee.
I'm also not looking forward to getting up into the cold weather. Yuk.
Since I'll be out on the road on my birthday Mom gave me my gift from her today. It's a nice flannel shirt that will make the cold weather a little more comfortable. She can't afford much, but I appreciate the thought and the shirt will come in handy.
