Blogging Moving To Television

When my local news went off the Regis show came on. I was about to change the channel when I heard them mention blogs. Hmm, ok I'll leave it for a moment. It seems that they are making some changed to their show and one of those changes is that the stars of the show are going to be blogging.

I'm not sure yet how I feel about this. I'm going to have to let the idea soak in for a while. It does strike me a bit odd that they would want to make blogging a part of their silly little television show. Perhaps their ratings are slipping and they see this as a way to draw in some more viewers?

I wonder if they'll actually write their own blogs or simply have the staff writers do it in their names? Somehow that wouldn't surprise me.

The whole thing just strikes me a bit silly.

Stupid? yes. But not unexpected. It is like the Internet. Everyone had to have a URL, whether it made sense or not. Now it is Blogging. Everyone has to have one. I think their staff is going to write it.
