A bunch of useless crap

The guys on the shaving forum often use the term "weeper". Up until now I merely thought of them as nicks. Now I truly know what the term means.

I have a scar on my right cheek, a souvenir from an attempted robbery. I am normally careful about shaving around that area. This time I was careless. As that Feather blade passed over the scar it sliced through it as if it were nothing.

At first I didn't even feel it. My first indication was seeing the blood start to flow. That's when I felt it. Now I understand the term "weeper".

Thank goodness for styptic.

On a positive note, this was the first time I used the Taylor Of Old Bond Street Sandalwood shave cream. It smells really good and produces a fantastic lather.

Ouch!  The only thing I can compare that to is the left side of my left "new" knee...the nerves they cut through left that side numb and I cut it once while shaving.  No pain,  just bleeding.

An attempted robbery?  whoa!  you've had a lot happen to you!

I suppose there's a good side to having it be numb

Styptic pencils are quite handy. It stings a little but does stop the bleeding pretty quick.

Why is it that cuts on the head always seem to bleed like a stuck pig?  Is it because the skin is thinner or something?  I hate knicking myself shaving cause it always takes so long to stop.

All those tiny little blood vessels.
