Oh Boy! Now I Really Want To Get Home!

A call to my mom confirmed that the badger shaving brush that I had won in the contest had arrived. All of my mail goes to her place due to my being on the road. Now I am even more anxious to get home so I can try that bad boy out.

Unfortunately I have been sitting here in NC since yesterday afternoon waiting for them to find me a load home. So far the only loads they have found going that way require a double drop trailer, which is what I usually pull, but I have a step deck. I suggested to them that if they don't find something today that perhaps I should just deadhead home. With the price of fuel being what it is I know they don't want that so maybe they'll try just a little harder to find something.

I just know that I am tired and ready for a break. Besides, I have a new toy at home I want to play with.

Thanks. I hope to miss the cold snap. After the cold weather up in the WI area I've been enjoying the warmer weather down here and looking forward to getting back down to FL and some real warm weather.

thanks. I'm sure the brush will be far better than the boar bristle one I've been using. Basically a $12 brush vs a $115 brush.

ps. You were right, it's tough finding a place that sells DE razor handles. I live in the Sacramento area, so I'm putting my nose to the grindstone. Im determined to get one this weekend and give it a shot!

You are going to be very hard pressed finding one. You may want to check to see if there are any barber supply places in your area as they may have them. Some upscale men's shops also sell them.

Worst case, order online. It'll arrive in a few days. By the way, I noticed that classicshaving.com is out of stock on the Merkur HD (Hefty) at the moment. Last I checked the Trafalgar Shop (google it) still has them in stock.
