A bunch of useless crap

Socrates is still feeling poorly because of his first vaccinations. The vet said it would make him feel a little under the weather for a few days. He feels bad and he wants some attention.

I'm trying to use the mouse and type on the keyboard with a cat laying on my chest, nipping at my hands, and generally being a pest.

But knowing that he doesn't feel well I can't put him off either. He needs a little loving and attention because he feels a little sick so I'm indulging him. When I do put him down because I have to get up he's waiting right here for me to come back. As soon as I sit down he's right back up on me wanting to be petted and paid attention to.

It should wear off soon and he'll be back to his usual pain in the ass self.

Yea, almost like when a child (or in your case, exactly like it) is feeling blah.  Sally was the same way after her first ones.  The next ones come up soon enough.

Exactly. He still seems to be feeling a little under the weather but is a bit more active today and he's eating more.

He's a lot like a baby after a vaccination, babies run fevers, are cranky, want to be held..neither kittens nor babies understand what we put them through is for their own good.

Can't say as I blame Socrates, needles are meant to help, yet.....

Oh yeah, he's getting (demanding) extra attention.
