A bunch of useless crap
Ok, not really

After being left alone all day Socrates is attention starved I think. He's finally settled down from a fit of insanity, running around, attacking, biting, and generally playing. Now he's switched to "love on me" mode. He wants to be right on me, in my face, purring and wanting to be petted.

While this isn't abnormal for him, his persistence is. I'll pet him a bit and then lay him down on the couch beside me and he'll immediately jump right back up on me. I put him down and he jumps right back. We did this so many times I just couldn't stop laughing. Kinda like a furry yo-yo.

He finally wore himself out and fell asleep laying on the couch using my leg for a pillow.

Ah well, after a really tough day he managed to make me laugh for a while.

Just like a child he is! He's really sweet! Are you sure there's not a 'wee bit of human' in him?! I know how smart they are (cats) I had a couple of my own a long time ago! You're a good daddy!

I've never liked cats, somehow i always felt they cant be domesticated.
My friend was always telling me how his cat even after two years of careful nurturing still scratches him...

Sally's persistence does not bother me so much during the day.  It is the 4am "I want to play" times that get me!

Maybe the cat just doesn't like him?

Ah, he missed you!

Greatly excited by your return, once that faded he kept asking for your reassurance that you weren't going to be "abandoning" him again.... finally reassured he went to sleep.

aw bless his little heart!
