I've always liked the show Frasier (Daphne is hot), but as I don't usually watch a lot of tv there are a number of episodes I have never seen. I was just watching one such episode. In this episode Frasier and Niles get involved with black market caviar dealers which is amusing but even funnier is their father's dealing with the bank over a simple ATM mistake.
He went to an ATM to withdraw $20 and the machine mistakenly gave him $60. At Daphne's insistence he tried to return the extra $40 to the bank. Banks being banks the folks there didn't actually listen to him and/or simply couldn't fathom someone trying to return an overage and kept giving him more money thinking he had been shorted $40. He finally got tired of the forms, tellers, managers, and basic BS and got a bit testy with a teller at which point a security guard, thinking it was a robbery, pulled a gun on him.
The bank manager, at the propmting of the lawyers, had him sign an agreement in exchange for a $10,000 settlement.
Funny as hell, and pretty much just like a damned bank.
