A bunch of useless crap

This morning's pick up at the Reserve post went very smoothly. No problems finding the place and they were waiting for me when I arrived. I was expecting some pretty used and abused truck but this one is in very good condition. It shouldn't need much except normal maintenance and relettering to be redistributed to another Reserve post.

I made it through Atlanta so I won't have to deal with that mess in the morning. I'm spending the night here in North Georgia and will make my way up into Wisconsin tomorrow so that I can deliver at Ft. McCoy on Thursday morning. Hopefully the balance of the trip will go as smoothly as the start.

Socrates actually seems happy to be back in "his" truck again. It took about 30 minutes of me driving and him going crazy all over the truck before he finally settled back into his riding mode. I suppose for him it's home.

I bet he's grown in the last few weeks too. I'm serioulsy impressed at how easy it has been for him to get used to life on the road. He sounds like a one-in-a-million cat.

Happhy to know that the cat, Socrates, is enjoying the road as much as you.
