While I was inside the truckstop getting my evening movie watching snack I was checking out the DVD sale rack where they have the ones they sell for 10 bucks. Another driver was also standing there doing likewise. He was checking out a movie that I happen to have and I mentioned to him that I thought it was a pretty good action flick.
We then started telling each other about the ones displayed that we already own as we both have a pretty good collection, and reviewing which we thought were good and which we thought were bad. Eventually we each selected one we hadn't seen based upon the review of the other. There wasn't a single movie there that wasn't owned by one or the other of us.
While we were in the middle of this truckstop movie review a couple of other drivers came over and joined in, each of them picking out a movie based upon our conversation. In hindsight I think it was pretty amusing, two truck drivers standing in the aisle of a truckstop giving movie reviews like somewhat rougher versions of Siskel and Ebert. What's this world coming to?
