The Dunes look awesome! My wife and her family used to go to some sand dunes in NM and rent sleds to go down them. I always really liked the 8th one from the top. Great pics, thanks for sharing.

I think the east side of the mountains on I-8 are awesome as well!  It looks like a giant piled pebbles (boulders to us) in mounds for some reason.

And those Saguaro Cactus are awesome!  They say they are dying out as people steal them.  Thanks for getting some in the wild!

Yeah those mountains are pretty interesting. Like you said, piled boulders. I would have taken more of California but the batteries in my camera had died and I had to make a stop on the way to buy more.

If those cacti are getting scarce I sure didn't see any sign of it. Those suckers are everywhere!
