I'm watching the Jay Leno show. Ok, I know, it's not exactly quality programming, but it's on. Jay is out in the public asking people some pretty simple questions. It's scary how many people, including those who claim to be college educated, can't answer correctly.
The questions I caught were:
In what country was Christopher Columbus born?
The major land masses on the planet are called...? (One dizzy bitch answered "lakes")
What country were we at war with during the Revolutionary War?
The process in which a caterpillar changes to a butterfly is called...?
Who was President during World War One? ( one stupid asshole asnwered Eisenhower)
Now I'm sure that (hopefully) some people answered some of these questions correctly and they just didn't show them, but it's scary how many people, even those who claimed to be college educated, couldn't answer or gave really stupid answers.
Wow! I'm impressed. As I'm typing this Paul Newman ate a bite of his line of organic dog food. At least the dude stands behind his products. LOL
Back to the point.
Just because someone is "college educated" doesn't mean they actually know anything or are actually intelligent. I've met many educated idiots in my life. I wouldn't eat dog food no matter how well I thought it was made.
