A bunch of useless crap

I just got home from the mall in the next town West of ours (Brandon). I had to go over there to get a Med Alert Necklace engraved. I am deathly allergic to the iodine IV dye they use as a contrast for CAT Scans and in case of an accident in which I am not conscious they need to be alerted to that fact so they don't kill me with that stuff.

I have worn one of the alerts for a number of years but at some point following my accident in 2004 it had been removed at one of the two hospitals and I never saw it again. Now that I'm back on the road I figured it's a good idea for me to get another one, which I have done. You just never know.

Anyway, when I got back home I called my office to find out if they had booked a load for me yet. We had originally agreed that I would take a load out again on Friday. She told me that we have two other drivers down here in Florida who don't live here and would I mind if they give them the two current loads so they can be rolling again. It would mean my remaining home until Monday.

Hmmm, I'd been out this time for a month and have only been home since Monday evening. Tough decision but, no, I don't mind. Of course I played it as I was being extremely magnanimous by allowing them to give my load to one of the other drivers. She said "Thanks, you're such a nice guy".

No, I'm just tired, but I didn't tell her that.
