A bunch of useless crap

I picked up a truck and trailer from Camp Lejeune, NC and am taking them to a military museum in WI. Making the pick up turned out to be an adventure.

The lot where they were located was mostly sand and I got stuck. They tried to pull me out with their big forklift but there was just no way. The rig had sunk down in the sand so far that the bottom rails of my trailer were on the ground. The guy asked me to wait while he made a phone call, like I was going anywhere, and a few minutes later a tank showed up.

Well, the tank had no trouble at all pulling me out of the sand (imagine that). That's one for my book, I've never been towed out by a tank before LOL. Well, two actually, as I've never hauled a load to a museum before either.

I hope the turret on the tank was a pointing forward!

That's hilarious Mason!  And what a cool story!

Glad you didn't have to pay to have a crane or something get you out.  Gotta love those military guys.....always thinkin!
