A bunch of useless crap

After spending last night at the bar celebrating St. Paddy's day with a number of other drivers and office people from work, and sleeping it off, I am now headed for Texas.

This load is a real hodgepodge. There is a generator on a trailer, a large air compressor, a "wet cutter" which is some kind of machine for cutting concrete, a large industrial saw for a factory, and a whole bunch of military fire fighting/supression stuff including a large tank of halon, a couple of skids of Purple K, a ladder, and assorted other odds and ends. It took me several hours to get it all secured so that it stands some chance of making it to it's assorted destinations intact.

I have four stops in Texas; Terrell, Ennis, Austin, and Houston. All but Austin are civilian locations. Should be an interesting couple of days. I will be running through the Nations in Oklahoma so will be stopping to buy some cheap smokes as I pass through. I always look forward to my trips to Texas as it is one of the few places one can get truly good Mexican food.

My Wife, and her family (as well as I) would argue with you on that one. We think the best and only is out in Imperial california! (Outside of Mexico)

And my wife says she is jealous!  She misses texas too.

I can understand her missing Texas. It's one of my favorite parts of the country. Dunno about the California thing though, I stay out of that place. The stench of PC in the air makes me nauseous.
