A bunch of useless crap

Well I finally got word of another pick up to fill out my load to Wisconsin. I'll be stopping in Fort Knox, KY tomorrow to pick up a Bushmaster truck and a rocket launcher frame. This will be my first visit to Fort Knox in quite a long time.

I can't load the truck until 3PM and Fort Knox is only 5 hours from here I didn't see much point in leaving out of here until tomorrow morning. I'll get up, eat breakfast, and then mosey on up that way. If I drag my feet enough I shouldn't have to wait around too long once I get there. In the meantime I'm taking advantage of the down time to get some rest.

I did use some of the time today to finally install Linux on one harddrive partion on the new laptop. That's one small task completed. The install itself only took about 20 minutes, but then I had to spend another 10 minutes or so configuring it the way I wanted it.

Tomorrow I'll be back on the road again, next stop: Fort Knox.

Fort Knox and "Bushmaster truck and a rocket launcher frame"? Not a good word combination.

Have a fun trip!

Ft Knox was pretty cool. The Bushmaster is an Australian truck. I am guessing a bit here but I think it's being hauled to Oshkosh so they can study it and design an American version.

I spent some time talking with the rep from Australia. A really nice guy. He said he would see if he could set it up so that his company would pay for me to fly down to Australia this summer for a "business trip". I'm all for that as I have always wanted to see the Aussie lands. He said he could introduce me to some Aussie gals who would love a Southern American guy.

In Indiana now and while I probably had a couple more beers than I should have (talking to other drivers), I should make my two stops on WI tomorrow no problem.
