A bunch of useless crap
Published on November 4, 2007 By MasonM In Blogging
I popped over to Applebee's for lunch and wound up staying for several hours. I was having a good time and some good conversation so I stuck around. The bartender for whom I am knitting a hat came on shift. My first thought was to just put away my knitting so she wouldn't see it but I decided to see if she approved of the colorway instead. She liked it so I guess it's a winner.

While there my favorite bartender there, who became a manager and lately transferred to another location, came in. She immediately came over to me and gave me a big hug which I gladly returned.

I should say that I am not a person who is much for hugs as a rule. I am not against the idea of them, but they tend to make me a little uncomfortable. That being said, I really enjoyed hugging my long lost friend.

When I got ready to leave I got not only another hug from my favorite ex-bartender but I also got one from the bartender for whom I am making the hat. I have to admit that even though I am not normally comfortable with hugs I did really enjoy those.

I am going to have to really re-think my feelings about hugs. They really are a good thing.

Well hallejua!  Ya,  sure,  You betcha!

I wish I'd found a friendly bartender!  We all need hugs   they actually increase the hemoglobin,  lower blood pressure,  and soothe our bodies!

Enjoy!

I think Mason is the guy that wrote a blog entry about people giving out hugs,  and provided a link to Utube showing it.  Cool huh?!

We need a hugs campaign here where I live!  right in downtown!

I'm so glad you realise what you're missing!! Hugs are ALWAYS good when they are someone who really cares!

Yeah. Most of the time I'm not comfortable with people getting that close, but sometimes it's nice. Especially if she's cute
